Be sure to come with an appetite. Huge helpings of delicious food mean that you're more than likely have to take a doggy bag home. Poor scruffy it's going to be told that you're sorry but you're going to have to eat what you brought home for . cozy and family friendly. The servers are polished and relaxed.

Service slow but got better. Expensive for the meal provided. Best part of my steak was the side of Ravioli. Sad since I’ve been here a few years ago and the experience was better. Seems like things are getting worst. Hopefully that’s a single data point and not a trend

Wonderful atmosphere. You just feel the Italian when you walk in the place. The food is delicious and portions are big. Definitely get your money's worth.

I really like this place. Old school restaurant that serves a great variety of food. They have one of the best Cobb salads I've ever had, I ate one tonight! My buddy had the rock salad with shrimp and crab looked awesome. Lunch there is also good I've been a few times in between meetings while in the San Jose area. Never have I had bad service or a bad experience here I really highly recommend you go here.

Jay, our waiter was wonderful. Friendly, charming and great service. 3 of our party had the calsmari steaks. Cooked to perfection. Have lunch leftovers. The raviolis are heaven sent. Sadly, they are closing thru April 1st. We will definitely be back after the 1st. Please support your local small businesses. This corona dilemma is really hurting small companies.

This is a classic choice in downtown San Jose. It takes a special restaurant to last 50 or 60 years and this is no exception. Outstanding food, classic service, and just an all-around interesting night out. If you can get a reservation do so. But when you walk into original Joe's restaurant you're going to enter a time warp. It will be 1970 or so ... brace yourself. And the food will be outstanding.

I went there two times. The first was a take away order (which was very disappointing) and the second time, I set at the restaurant with a friend (which was great). The quality of different items on the menu just didn't feel consistent enough. A burger and crab cakes on take out were very mediocre, but buffalo wings, a steak and veal parmesan when sitting at a table were great. The same can be said about the service - great when sitting there, bad when waiting on take out.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in San Jose. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing more enjoyable than sitting at the counter sharing a meal with your loved ones. If you need formal, sitting at a booth is a great, consistently dependable and way to accommodate small to large groups. Their prime rib, pastas, sauces, vegetables, soups, desserts are simply amazing. If tradition, comfort, ambiance and a sense of San Jose pride is important to you, I highly recommend you come take in the experience, you will not be disappointed. Personally, I love to pull up to the counter, order bread, some marinara sauce to dip my sour dough inti while waiting for any one of their off the hook pasta dishes, salad or a stake/prime rib. LOVE LOVE LOVE OJ's.

I've been to this Korean restaurant a week ago. It was great dining experienced that I had. The dishes that they served was indeed delicious and satisfying. The samgyupsal, kimchi fried rice, and buldak were indeed mouthwatering at affordable prices. Their so-called soju drink was lit. This Korean restaurant is superb!!

Elegantly and carefully plated, each dish is layered and infused with delicate flavors that are authentic to its heritage. The knowledge behind as well as the refined elements of each menu item is a nod to each of the resident regional chefs’ talents. Adding to the experience is the spacious dining area, which is decorated with warm tones and features plush seating, floor-to-ceiling windows, and mirrored walls, all of which evoke a modern, oriental feel.

Decent food, but bad service. Ordered the pesto with pine nuts pasta with a sausage on the side but they gave us garlic bread on the side instead 🤷ðŸ½â€â™‚ï¸. I thought it came free with the meal order but I found that I was charged for it. My friend and I had finished eating and were waiting for the check for 10-15 mins before we could ask for it, then another 10 minutes before the waiter came around and took my card.

Nothing over the top here, American Diner meets Italian cuisine is how to summarize this place. Level of food is expectant based upon price point. Decor and style is outdated but does add charm, and I can see why people have fallen in love with this local spot over the years. Onsite butchering shop gives the cuts of meat added praise. The prime rib was decent and portions were HUGE, the bone-in was exceptionally tasty and tender.Order the meatball appetizers!

I'm not sure what to say is a must-try from here because everything is so delicious. If I am so lucky to come back any time soon, I am ordering the lamb again, it's one of a kind. The head chef/owner was working the night I went as well wish was cool, we sat right by the kitchen and got to watch him create these amazing dishes. Congrats and one of a kind.

This place has been around for almost 70 years!! The staffing is great and attentive. The food was exceptional and portions are large. So be prepared when it comes to the table. Let your hair down and enjoy.
